We are La Rivera S.A.
La Rivera S.A. is a leader in sustainable reforestation in Paraguay with over 4,600 hectares of reforested forest. La Rivera was founded in 2010 in Paraguay and employs over 150 people.
During this time, our company has grown steadily. In addition to planting eucalyptus, we have launched other projects in organic agriculture, raw materials processing and house construction. Currently, we are building an industrial park for wood processing and direct marketing of our products locally.
Our employees are well trained and specialists in their field, ranging from forest engineers, technicians, farmers to the administrative, tourism and marketing staff.
For our customers we develop individual concepts in agriculture and forestry with competent support and sustainable yields.

Residence Permit and Cédula
Compared to other countries, it is easy to obtain a permanent residence permit in Paraguay. This is an advantage even if you do not stay permanently in the country. The permanent residence permit (Admisión Permanente) together with a Paraguayan identity card (Cédula de Identidad) is necessary to open a bank account and to start a business.
The basic permanent residence permit package plus cedula per person has a cost of € 2840,-.
This includes all official fees, translations, notary fees and medical certificate.
